Together we can change the future of those bereaved in childhood
Every day, children and young people are navigating life after devastating loss, and they shouldn’t have to do it alone.
Stand-by-me Bereavement Support walks beside grieving children and young people with care that is trusted, founded on clinically validated principles, and life-changing.
Now, we’re calling on businesses in Hertfordshire and beyond to stand with us.

By becoming a Stand-by-me Business Champion and donating £100 or more per month, your company will help transform children’s futures in your local community.
You’ll not only create real impact but also grow your brand’s reputation, engage your team in something meaningful, and proudly stand among those recognised for making a difference. This is your chance to show what your business stands for.
Will you stand by them?

Six other ways your business can get involved
Easy Fundraising
Easy Fundraising is a free and simple way to support Stand-by-me every time you shop online. When you sign up and choose Stand-by-me as your cause, retailers donate a small percentage of your purchase at no extra cost to you.
Employee payroll giving
Employees can choose to make a regular donation to Stand-by-me via your payroll. Even £1 a week from each of your employees could make a significant difference to the children and families we support.
Employee fundraising events
Every year organisations put on charity fundraising days; it’d be great if you could support Stand-by-me in these efforts. Hold a quiz night, bake some cakes or have a dress down day, all great fun to be involved in and with the bonus of knowing you will be making a difference to bereaved children in your local community.
Promote our charity
Whether it’s on your social media channels, through posters in a shop window, or any other way, we’re always grateful when people or organisations promote our charity and the work we do.
Sponsor an event
We hold a variety of events to raise awareness of the services we offer and to raise vital funds. We are actively looking for sponsorship for these. You choose which event you would like to sponsor, and we will acknowledge your support, with your logo on all promotional material and on our social media channels, making sure that your sponsorship is worthwhile for your organisation.
Make us your ‘charity of the year’
Every year many companies choose a charity partner as a charity of the year, and we would encourage you or your employer to do the same. By supporting Stand-by-me in this way, both you and your team are helping local children bereaved in childhood.
Community support
As a small charity we rely on the generosity of the people and organisations in our local community.
of our income is from donations and community fundraising
children and young people have received our support
health professionals & school staff have received training
