Hugo takes 3rd place in European Young Ambassador Final!
We are incredibly proud to share some fantastic news about our Young Ambassador, Hugo, who has achieved an amazing 3rd place in the European Final of the Lions Club Young Ambassador competition.
Reaching the European Final is an incredible achievement in itself, and to finish third is a wonderful recognition of Hugo’s commitment, confidence and determination.
Throughout the competition, Hugo has continued to represent Stand-by-me and use his own experiences and voice to help raise awareness of childhood bereavement and the importance of ensuring bereaved young people feel heard, understood and supported.
As one of our Young Ambassadors, Hugo has shown just how powerful young people’s voices can be. His willingness to speak openly, share his ideas and advocate for others is helping us to challenge conversations around grief and make a difference for other bereaved children and young people.
We have been so proud to follow Hugo’s journey through the competition and see his confidence grow along the way.
