A Big Thank You to Our Amazing March Fundraisers!

As we step into a new month, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who dedicated their time, energy, and generosity to raising funds for Stand-by-me throughout March 2025. Your incredible support means the world to us and ensures that we can continue providing vital services to bereaved children, young people, and their families in North Herts and Stevenage.

A special shout-out to Hitchin Tennis Club, who have chosen Stand-by-me as their Charity of the Year 2025. Their generous donation of £500.00 is truly appreciated and will go a long way in supporting our work.

We also want to give a massive thank you to the amazing team from LSTC, whose staff took on the incredible challenge of an Ultra Marathon, raising over £1,500! Your endurance and dedication are inspiring, and we are so grateful for your commitment to making a difference.

A huge round of applause to Gillian, one of our fantastic Community Volunteers, who participated in the Cambridge Half Marathon and raised over £300. Your efforts and determination mean so much to us and the families we support.

And a special celebration for Brenda, who, in honour of her birthday, raised over £200 with the support of her wonderful family and friends! What an amazing way to make a difference.

Without the kindness and generosity of individuals and groups like you, we wouldn’t be able to provide the crucial support that bereaved children, young people, and families need during their most difficult times. Your fundraising efforts help us offer grief support, group activities, and counselling to those who need it most.

From all of us at Stand-by-me, thank you! Your support makes all the difference, and we are beyond grateful to have such a wonderful community standing with us.

If you’d like to get involved in fundraising or learn more about our work, please visit our website or reach out to us. Together, we can continue to make a real impact in the lives of bereaved families.

With heartfelt thanks,

The Stand-by-Me Team
