Childhood Bereavement Registration and Education Debate

Kevin Bonavia, MP for Stevenage, was in parliament debating the crucial issue of childhood bereavement. After speaking with our Young Ambassador Evie at a recent community event, he was so inspired by her story that he mentioned both Stand-by-me and Evie in his opening speech. He discussed two petitions raised by Winston’s Wish, Child Bereavement UK and Child Bereavement Network; the scale of childhood bereavement and adding bereavement as part of the national curriculum.
