Evie’s on a mission to spread the word!
One of our Young Ambassadors, Evie, courageously faced the wind and rain at the Knebworth Festival last Saturday. Evie, whose father died in 2019, joined Stand-by-me as a Young Ambassador in 2023.
At the festival, Evie, alongside her mother Catherine and our Clinical Lead Trustee Sandra, showcased Stand-by-me’s work supporting bereaved children. Despite the challenging weather conditions, Evie passionately shared the importance of supporting bereaved children, even engaging with the local Labour candidate Kevin Bonavia, who pledged to raise awareness if elected.
Evie’s efforts raised £84.80 for Stand-by-me and earned her a well-deserved Brownie Fundraising Badge. We are truly inspired by the dedication of our Young Ambassadors in raising awareness for the needs of bereaved children and young people.
